Vic Feazell is not running for President. He’s meandering.
He doesn’t accept campaign contributions. He invites his friends to:

“Write Me In - In 2008”
Write Me In www.write-me-in.org
www.write-me-in.org/national/president.html

Why?
Because we could do worse – and we probably will.

My Platform:
  1. End the War on Drugs and Legalize All Victimless Crimes.

  2. Tax and Regulate the Sale of Marijuana [video] [news]

  3. Use the Money this would save for better Health Care, Housing, Education and Economic Development.

  4. Privatize as much as possible and get the Government Out of People’s Lives.

  5. Protect the environment by participating in global solutions.

  6. Respect Other Governments and Cultures and stop behaving as a Global Bully.

  7. Normalize Relations with Cuba, and the rest of the civilized world.

  8. Institute viable alternatives to the Death Penalty, such as Life Without Parole.

  9. Synchronize all those darn traffic lights (an idea whose time has come).

  10. Get out of Iraq as quick as possible (we attacked the wrong place).

Texas Civil Rights Project
Tenth Annual Bill of Rights Dinner

Vic Feazell with keynote speaker Jim Hightower October 6th, 2000 – Austin, Texas.

Jim Hightower, a successful author, radio commentator, grass roots organizer and “America’s most popular populist”, is straight-talking, anti-establishment and fun to listen to. Hightower believes that to move America from greed to greatness, we must fuel the power and passion of our nation’s everyday citizenry. Bringing real economic opportunity and social justice to all citizens requires those citizens to actively participate in our democracy. Hightower inspires and encourages people to get mad, get moving and take charge – reminding them that they can’t wait for politicians to do it for us – they’ve been doing it to us for years.

His new book, If The Gods Had Meant Us To Vote They Would Have Given Us Candidates, is a refreshing perspective on the state of politics in the new millennium. The book focuses on the presidential candidates, all beholders to the powers-that-be; the topics of interest to ordinary people which no candidates will discuss; and moving stories of citizens beginning to create new politics and new candidates beholden to the “powers-that-ought-to-be”.
